This annual recognition highlights professionals making significant contributions to the transit industry, and Abhishek’s impact at MV exemplifies just that.

Since joining MV, Abhishek has been a driving force behind how we leverage data and technology to better serve our customers and employees. He established MV’s first data and analytics environment, developed our initial PowerBI dashboards, and built the company’s first data lake. These foundational steps paved the way for transformative advancements that continue to shape MV’s operations today.

Under his leadership, the Data Science & Analytics team is pioneering solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, and the employee experience. Among his most notable contributions are:

  • Developing predictive AI models to support operator hiring and retention.
  • Advancing data-driven safety initiatives to proactively identify and address risks.
  • Creating a centralized data hub that makes information more accessible and actionable.

These innovations are driving measurable results, from reducing attrition rates to equipping customers with deeper insights into system performance.

Reflecting on his work, Abhishek shared: “I thrive on challenges. As the data analytics manager for a billion-dollar company with a noble purpose, every day presents new challenges and problems to solve.”

We are honored to see Abhishek’s vision and dedication recognized on a national stage. His contributions not only strengthen MV but also advance the broader transit industry.
