MV Transportation to Provide Meridian, Idaho Saturday Passenger Service

DALLAS (September 15, 2014) – Today, MV Transportation, Inc., announced it was selected to operate the brand new Saturday Passenger Service in Meridian, Idaho, designated as Route 35. The route provides service to various destinations within the Meridian city limits. Awarded by Valley Regional Transit (“VRT”), the one-year transit contract began on August 30, 2014, and expands MV’s work in the state of Idaho.

Under the terms of the contract, MV’s responsibilities include operations, vehicle fueling, driver staffing, and overall management of the transit operation. The service will be provided using client-furnished vehicles.

“MV is excited to expand its partnership with VRT to offer this brand new service, which will give the city of Meridian a public transportation option on Saturdays,” said Kevin Klika, MV President and Chief Operating Officer.
