What makes MV Transportation’s training programs stand out to you?
Training at MV Transportation is remarkable. The way we train and develop employees is unlike any other company I’ve seen. There’s a strong emphasis on learning, growth, and making sure employees have the tools they need to succeed in their roles.

Can you share a bit about your journey with MV Transportation?
I started my career at MV in dispatch. From there, I continued learning and growing within the organization. I became a road supervisor and later served as an acting safety manager for two different divisions. Those experiences helped me gain the knowledge and confidence I needed to step into my current role as Safety and Training Manager.

What does career growth at MV Transportation mean to you?
I’m very grateful to MV for taking a chance on me and promoting me throughout my career. The company gave me opportunities to grow and develop, which ultimately led me to where I am today.

What leadership lesson has had the biggest impact on your development?
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that there’s always something new to learn. Even when you think you know everything, there’s always another opportunity to grow. When I have questions, I go to my general manager. She doesn’t just give me the answer — she helps guide me to think through the problem and learn along the way. That approach has really helped me develop as a leader.

What does being part of MV Transportation mean to you after 10 years with the company?
It’s been a long journey. I’m very grateful for the opportunity to be part of the team here in Springfield and to continue growing with the company.
