MV’s July 31 Proposal to Union
The first option had guaranteed wage increases, kept current contract language on Articles 30/31 (related to shift selection), this split the difference between each side’s last wage proposal in 2026, meaning starting pay of $18.11 ($.07 lower than the union proposal) and top pay of $24.58 ($.42 lower than the union). A three percent raise in 2027 and then a big jump in 2028 to a starting rate of $23.34 ($2.69 HIGHER than the union proposal) and a top rate of $27.58 ($.08 lower than the union proposal).
The second option had a higher guaranteed wage increase if the union accepted MV’s proposed Articles 30/31. This proposal matched the union’s last proposal for 2026.
